Mexican Christmas colors go far beyond gold, silver, red and green to turquoise, emerald and a hint of tropical color, whether that’s hot pink, purple, yellow, orange and blue. From the nochebuena or poinsettia, one of Mexico’s gifts to the world and wooden or ceramic nacimientos or Nativity scenes in all shapes and sizes to hand-painted tree ornaments and Huichol beaded eggs, colorful embroidered tablecloths, table runners, napkins and glassware, let the festivities begin.
