Are you visiting us with the family this December? The Kids Club has a special program of Yuletide activities lined up for your children from December 22 to January 6, Three Kings Day.
The fun starts on December 22 with decorating and then lighting the Christmas tree. There will be puppet shows, movies, writing a letter to Santa and Santa’s arrival at the resort on Christmas Eve.
After Christmas, children can join in making a traditional gingerbread house, festive brochettes and guacamole. There will be a piñata party and a make a wish family show on New Year’s Eve.
Children in Mexico traditionally receive gifts on January 6, Kings Day or Epiphany. On January 5, they write a letter to the three kings telling them that they have been good all year and what they would like to receive. On the morning of January 6, they wake up to see that the three kings have visited the house during the night and left gifts. Later in the day, the family gathers to cut the rosca de reyes or kings cake. The Kids Club will have a special Kings Day activities for your children to enjoy.
