Tampa residents Milton and Beverly Goggans had been Royal Resorts members for six years at The Royal Haciendas before making the decision to purchase at Grand Residences. They recently returned from two glorious weeks in their new home away from home and had this to say about their stay.

“From the outset we liked the design and décor of Grand Residences and the beachfront location. We wanted to get in early, knowing that the resort was only going to get better and better, with even more services being added as it grows, says Milton.” Wife Beverly explains, “When we arrived for our first vacation here with our children and two-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter, we found everything to be very impressive and exactly how we remembered it in the model villa we saw. The air-conditioned restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff there are very hospitable and professional, we really appreciated their care and attention.”

Beverley adds, “Something that we love about Grand Residences is that everyone says “hola” here and makes you feel very welcome. You really feel like it is your home and there are plenty of details that make it even more welcoming, for example the fact that you can store belongings here and staff will get them out for you when you arrive or room service where they actually set the table for you, that’s a really nice touch. I loved the Kids Club and took my granddaughter over several times. Staff kept children very busy and entertained and were very patient with our toddler. I am sure that when she is a bit older she will love it even more.”

The Goggans enjoy the tranquility of Grand Residences and the sleepy fishing village of Puerto Morelos. “Grand Residences is quiet and you are really able to relax here. It is safe and we like being away from the hustle and bustle of Cancún and Playa del Carmen, both of which are still easily accessible when we want them, says Milton.” Beverly adds, “We had afternoon tea on the terrace and went to the Manager’s Party during our stay but we didn’t go exploring this year. We have been to Tulum and other attractions in the area before and this time we just wanted to unwind with our family.”

“We are looking forward to the opening of the new restaurant, she adds,” “We think it would be nice if the Restaurant Division offered more nightly specials and evening entertainment as the resort moves forward. We enjoyed listening to a talented jazz musician by the pool on Sunday; it would be wonderful if he played in the evening at dinner or for cocktail hour.”
