Q2. Will the quality of the Grand Residences resort experience change?

No, it will not. We will continue to offer you the luxury vacation experience and hospitality that you love and that has made Grand Residences the top resort in Puerto Morelos and one of the Best of the Best in Mexico.

Q3. Will the category of Grand Residences change?

The category of Grand Residences will not change, we will continue to offer the highest standards in quality, service and hospitality and the attention to detail to make every vacation unforgettable.

Q4. How will this affiliation benefit me?

As Grand Residences owners and members, you will be able to join the award-winning Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, rated the world’s best. You will earn points when you rent additional stays at Grand Residences and can use them to book stays at Wyndham properties.

Q5. Does this affiliation affect my exchange rights through The Registry Collection?

This strategic alliance does not affect the reciprocal use privileges you already have with The Registry Collection® for international vacation exchanges. You will still be able to book stays at the luxury properties listed on the Registry Collection website.

Q6. Will Grand Residences remain independently owned and operated?

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is not acquiring Grand Residences, this is an affiliation agreement. Grand Residences is still independently owned and operated, with the same Board of Directors and executive and operations management team.

Q7. How will your decision to end the Grand Residences affiliation with The Leading Hotels of the World affect me?

It will not affect the luxury vacation experience you enjoy at Grand Residences. We will keep the high quality and service standards that have become the hallmarks of our award-winning luxury hospitality. Through our affiliation with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Grand Residences will be the flagship property of its new luxury hospitality collection Registry Collection Hotels.

Q8. How will this affiliation affect Grand Residences employees?

Grand Residences employees will learn from the experience and best practices of an international brand. They will also have opportunities for best-in-class training and professional development.

Q9. What changes will I begin to see at the resort?

You will begin to see the Registry Collection Hotels and Wyndham Rewards logos on signage in different areas of the resort and on our website, promotional material, and social media posts.

Occupancy levels will also begin to rise at the resort as travelers book stays through the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts global booking engine and marketing channels.

Q10. Why did you decide to sign an affiliation agreement?

We decided that an alliance with an international brand was important for the future growth of Grand Residences. Affiliation with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will give the resort greater visibility and diversify our market opportunities. It will help boost occupancy levels, introduce new prospects to our timeshare programs and expand the Grand Residences community of owners and members. Furthermore, it will give the necessary assurances to our financial lenders that are currently considering providing the financial resources to build phases 3 and 4 and the additional public and service areas to complete Grand Residences.
