Starting January 1, the Environmental Tax for 2026 charged by the Municipal governments of Puerto Morelos, Solidaridad (Riviera Maya) and Cancun to all hotel and resort guests in their districts will increase. Puerto Morelos

If you are staying at Grand Residences by Royal Resorts, the Municipal Environmental Fee is $70.39 pesos per room/door per night and will be multiplied by 2, 3 or 4 depending on the size of the unit you are staying in.

• Junior Suite / Master Suite $70.39 pesos per night
• 2 bed room $140.78 pesos per night
• 3 bed room $211.17 pesos per night
• Presidential $281.56 pesos per night

Charged in Mexican pesos. This charge is not covered by the Grand Residences annual Club Service Fee or by the All-in Grand all-inclusive package.

The three municipal governments use the proceeds from the Environmental Tax to contribute to environmental protection, sanitation and community initiatives in their area.
