You can enjoy your first sailing experience right here in Puerto Morelos with a snorkeling trip out to the reef. Then board a catamaran for an afternoon cruise along the Riviera Maya coast. If you enjoy fishing, the local marina offers fishing trips in the Cozumel Channel, the ocean trench between the Riviera Maya coast and the island of Cozumel, and to rich fishing grounds east of Cancun, Isla Mujeres and Contoy.

For a day of snorkeling and island fun, sail through the bay between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. Spend time exploring the island and stay on for the sunset as Playa Norte on Isla is one of the best spots to enjoy it.

A trip to the desert island and bird sanctuary of Contoy is a must for nature lovers. This Mexican Caribbean treasure is home to more than 150 species of bird, including egrets, ibis, spoonbills, cormorants, frigate birds and pelicans, and is a two-and-a-half-hour sail to the north of Cancun. Keep a lookout for turtles, dolphins, flying fish and even whale sharks during the voyage.
