Help change lives, sign up for the 2024 Royal Resorts Foundation Race

Calling all Grand Residences runners! We hope that you will join us in Cancun on February 18, 2024, to compete in the Sixth Royal Resorts Foundation Race and help change lives. We will be raising money for VIFAC, a community center that provides a sanctuary for single mothers and their children and works with vulnerable young girls. The goal is to raise $500,000 pesos.

As in previous years, there will be a 5 and 10-kilometer race, a 3-kilometer walk and a Fun Run for the children too.

Race details

• The race for adults takes place at 7:20 a.m. for adults and 7 a.m. for children on February 18, 2024. The race will take place in Downtown Cancun and the route will be through Parque Cancun or along Malecon Tajamar (tbd).
• 5 or 10 kilometers
• 3-kilometer walk
• Age categories for men and women

Free (13-39 years) Master (40-49 years) Veteran (50 and over)

• The Race fee includes competitor number, souvenir t-shirt, chip (for 5 and 10 km competitors), finalist medal, water, isotonic drink when crossing the finish line

Prizes will be given to the first three places in each category in the 5 and 10 km races for men and women. The first three Royal Resorts team members to cross the finish in the 5 and 10 km races for men and women will also receive prizes.

Children’s Fun Run

Bring the kids! There is a race for them too!

• Children aged 4 to 7 years
  500 meters

• Children aged 8 to 12 years
  1 kilometer

Race packets will be handed out on February 17 in Gran Salón Hacienda Sisal
