Delicious cuisine, buffets and a la carte menus for indoor and outdoor dining with the family. Here’s your guide to the theme nights during the week.
Start your family vacation with Sunday Brunch and the BBQ on Sunday evening. Enjoy steaks, chicken, BBQ pork ribs and seafood cooked to perfection and served with all the traditional sides and a selection of BBQ sauces from around the world.
Monday night is Italian Night at El Faro Grill, showcasing classic recipes from different cities and regions of Italy such as Rome, Milan, Venice, Naples, Tuscany, Liguria and Sicily, among others. There is a spread of antipasti, pastas and pizzas to choose from and the Sommelier will recommend wines that are the perfect pairing for the dishes chosen.
Say hello to Mexico on Tuesday with the country’s favorite street food, that’s right, it’s Taco Tuesday at Heaven Beach Bar & Grill. On the menu are tacos al pastor, Baja-style fish and shrimp tacos, crispy golden-fried tacos dorados. There’s a selection of grilled steak, chicken and shrimp, and savory guisos or stews to fill your warm tortillas with. Help yourself to guacamole, refried beans and spicy salsas for taco perfection. Live music and traditional desserts complete this Mexican evening.
Also on Tuesday from 8 p.m., the lobby bar terrace hosts Jazz & Martini Night.
If you love seafood you won’t want to miss Nautical Night on Thursday at El Faro Grill. Enjoy your favorite fruits de mer, seafaring décor, the breeze and the sound of the waves.
To start with, head to the raw bar for mussels, scallops, clams and oysters, shrimp to peel and everything you need to make your own ceviche or aguachile. The catch of the day, salmon and tuna are served with your choice of sauces: garlic-orange, butter, lemon-butter sauce or Thai sauce. Order a whole fish, pasta frutti di mare or traditional Valencia-style paella.
Return to El Faro on Friday Night for a veritable celebration of French cuisine and fine dining. Starters include duck foie gras with green bean, spinach, fig and nut salad, onion or vichyssoise soup or tomato and goat cheese tart. Main courses range from Mediterranean-style shrimp with ratatouille, basil pesto and herb salad and salmon with sautéed spinach and bearnaise sauce. Meat lovers will enjoy the tender beef fillet in green peppercorn sauce, rib-eye with maître d’hôtel butter and pommes frites, herb-crusted lamb fillet with macaire potato cakes and thyme-infused gravy or pork belly with beans, longaniza (Valladolid sausage) and plum sauce.
Smooth chocolate crème brûlée, gateau St. Honoré and Black Forest and pear Belle Hélene are a heavenly finale to a perfect meal.
Order a bottle of your favorite French wine from the wine list. If you are not sure what to choose, the sommelier will be able to recommend the perfect pairing for your menu choices.
Beach bonfires and more
The Beach Bonfire has been such a hit with Grand Residences families that we added a second evening to cater to the demand. Hot dogs, smores, drinks and lots of fun on the sand on Wednesday and Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. (weather permitting). Reservations are required.
Book your table on the lobby bar terrace for Afternoon tea during your stay. Sip your favorite tea and enjoy a selection of sandwiches, heavenly cakes and freshly baked scones as you enjoy a catch up with friends or family or simply take in the view. Reservations are required.

If you are celebrating something special, why not arrange a romantic dinner on the beach or a private dinner on the terrace of your villa. Both these experiences can be arranged with the Food & Beverage department (additional charges). Set menus are available, but if you have something different in mind the chef can work with you to create a menu considering your preferences or needs.
