This month’s wine recommendation comes from the Veneto region of Italy and is a full-bodied red wine.

Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva 2016, Fattori, Veneto, Italy

Grape varieties: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella

Stored for two years, this wine is a deep ruby red color with a hint of violet. It has the fragrance of ripe red fruit, black cherries and dark chocolate. Refined and elegant, it is smooth on the palate with a good balance of acidity and tannins.
