Important news about the Owner Services team

We have some important news to share with you about changes in the Grand Residences sales team. With sadness we announce that Catherine Duda, your Grand Residences Owner Liaison Manager, is leaving the company this month.

Catherine is returning to Canada for personal reasons; she is moving back to her hometown of Vancouver to take care of her mother and to be close to her family at a challenging time for them all.

A Cancun resident since 1989, Catherine joined Royal Resorts in 1998, working at The Royal Sands, The Royal Haciendas and then Grand Residences. She has been an integral part of the Grand Residences team since the beginning. A much-loved member of the Royal Resorts family, she has watched the company grow and has touched the lives of so many members and Grand Residences owners. Her friendly smile and warmth, compassion, quiet efficiency and professionalism as she takes care of members’ needs have made her many friends over the years.

One cycle in Catherine’s life is ending and we are sure that you will want to join us in thanking her for all her hard work and wish her all the best for the future in Canada.

Dearest Owners, Friends,
I regret to inform you that I have made the difficult decision to leave Cancun.
It is time to spend some time with my aging Mother.

It is for an indefinite time, therefore, I must resign from Grand Residences and Royal Resorts.
It breaks my heart to say goodbye to so many coworkers for whom I have so much gratitude, respect, and admiration. We have so many memories and have been through so much together.

What is most difficult is knowing I will not be seeing you every year, the Owners.
I want to thank each and every one of you, the Owners, who have shared their families and their lives with me, who trusted in me to become owners, and have entrusted me to take care of you during this time. You have all made my life richer, and have given me much joy.

We will make sure that you are in excellent hands and will be announcing in more detail who you can contact for anything you need.

Catherine is a hard act to follow, yet we have chosen a person with the same attention to detail and personal touch to take care of you. Claudia Ramirez has been appointed as the new Grand Residences Owner Services Manager. She has been with Royal Resorts for more than 10 years and many of you will know her as a dedicated member of the Grand Residences Concierge team. Rest assured that she will work tirelessly on your behalf in her new position, and we wish her every success.
