It may sound a somewhat unlikely addition to the city’s many attractions, but Cancun now has a Wax Museum. Located in La Isla Shopping Village, the museum has 23 exhibits showcasing more than 100 figures from the past and present. The list includes super heroes and sports personalities, pop and film stars and world leaders including Gandhi and Barack Obama. Open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Cancun already has two great museums that are both well worth a visit: the spectacular Underwater Museum of Art and the Maya Museum.
