If you and your family enjoy interacting with dolphins, then you will be able to do so just a short distance from Grand Residences. Delphinus Puerto Morelos, a new dolphin park is now open at El Cid Marina.
The dolphins are in pools that are continuously irrigated with seawater and they are cared for round the clock by a team of marine biologists and vets.
During their time in the park, visitors learn about the life of the dolphin, its intelligence and behavior and marine conservation and can choose from a variety of dolphin swims or encounters.
Delphinus has parks in Xcaret, Xel-Ha, Riviera Maya and Cancun, a successful dolphin breeding program and an environmental education program with schools in Quintana Roo. Through the Via Delphi Institute, it is involved in scientific research on dolphins and other marine mammals in cooperation with the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
