Meet one Canadian family from Ontario that has spent many a magical vacation at Royal Resorts and most recently at Grand Residences where three generations now enjoy the Mexican Caribbean sun.
Kim Campbell begins the story, “My Royal Resorts experience began 22 years ago when my family first stayed at The Royal Mayan, she explains. “I was in my late teens when my parents purchased at The Royal Caribbean. They went on to own weeks at The Royal Islander, The Royal Sands and The Royal Haciendas. We bought our Grand Residences unit jointly as a Mexican home that we can enjoy together, spending time with my daughter Isobel (see photo) and our new baby.
“We love Mexico and its people, and the quality of the new resort. Our residence is gorgeous and so spacious,” she adds. “My daughter is only three so we go to the beach and the pool a lot as you can imagine and she loves the girls in the Kids Club. The atmosphere at the resort is very welcoming and the staff are so friendly, you really feel like you are at home. We love it here.”
Her father David Worobec continues the family’s story, “My wife and I saw the plans for Grand Residences and the model villa at The Royal Sands and we felt that it was a great fit for us at our time of life and for our family.” As we prefer smaller resorts with low-rise buildings rather than larger, busier high-rise towers, we liked the Grand Residences concept. It has a package of great features: the design, location and the fact that it is run by Royal Resorts. We know from experience that the company has an excellent track record.
“The hospitality is outstanding here, truly five-star and the ambiance is quieter than in Cancun. David adds, “At first I had the impression that there were going to be more people coming down to enjoy their retirement but that is not the case, in fact, it is a multigenerational resort with a great atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly here, from the gardeners to the concierges, the resort has a fabulous team to look after us.
“I have had visitors stop me on the beach and ask me what the resort is like and if it is kid-friendly. David says, “I always say yes and that tell them that they should take a look at the Grand Residences project and ask for a tour. It really is in a class of its own.”
“To my fellow Grand Residences owners I would say that it is well worth coming down if you haven’t already stayed here. Everything that is open so far is fantastic and your resort home will only get even better. Plan a visit, you will love it.”
