Venezuelan artist José Luis Gonzalez amazed Puerto Morelos visitors at Christmas with his beautiful Nativity scene created from sand. For Easter he did it again with a representation of the Last Supper, Moises and La Pièta, the masterpiece of Michelangelo.
This impressive exhibit took him 20 days to sculpt with the help of three assistants and it used nine tons of sand.
